As a result of reviewing our complete materials supply chain, we came to the conclusion that most suppliers are now adopting a build to order policy. We decided the time was right to be more self-sufficient and guarantee our customer service.
One area that had been on the radar for some time was to facilitate the in-house manufacture of hydraulic hoses. Having already completed an extensive piece of market research we had soon revisited Hydrapower our supplier of choice - and placed an order for a Finpower P20 programmable swaging machine.
This would mean that every hose we use could be made in-house to our time frame. Couple this with the excellent training and health and safety packages that came with the machine, we felt assured and confident that we could assemble hoses to the very highest quality.
The P20 is capable of swaging unions onto all types of single and multi spiral hose at crimping pressures exceeding 3989 psi in sizes up to 35mm diameter.
This new facility is supported by key personnel on every shift and compliments strategically our 150K investment in stock materials, rightly keeping Keyo at the top of the service register.
